Stacey Sterling Murals

Stacey Sterling has a booth, BASILIC, at Pike Place Market where she sells hand-painted textiles and other art. Two of her murals decorate West Seattle sights. The triptych (left) brightens an exterior wall of a portable classroom at Alki Elementary. The red, blue, and green scene is inside Blue Moon Burgers.

Stacey Sterling

“My passion is painting. This is where I gather my strength and positive energy as I go through life. With my art, I hope to bring people closer together through the joy of these little characters.”

Stacey Sterling is a local Seattle artist who paints each canvas and item of clothing with her original designs. Her paintings and textiles can be seen year-round at Pike Place Market.

Stacey was born in Southern California, where she helped support her way through college as a boardwalk artist in Santa Monica. Her love of travel brought her to travel through Europe, photographing and painting along the way. She lived in Greece on the island of Ios for 11 years raising her two children and drawing inspiration from the sun and sea.

Currently, Stacey lives in West Seattle where she enjoys painting from her studio inspired by the waters of the Puget Sound. Her whimsical designs will often show a small raincloud in the background that represents the beauty of living in the Pacific Northwest.
