Visit South Seattle College Arboretum to enjoy a peaceful walk. There are a few spring flowers and some new growth. The arboretum lies at the north end of South Seattle College. Although the college is closed at this time (March 2020), the arboretum is open. The parking lot is closed. Be prepared to walk in a short distance from the street.
In its Chinese Garden sits a huge 20th century Thai bronze sculpture of a carp. The peonies surrounding it create a showy display in late spring.
