Annie Han and Daniel Mihalyo: Re-Stack

Re-Stack “is both a memory of a building that once existed and a fragment of a building from the future,” according to the sculpture’s label (by Vulcan Real Estate which commissioned the work). The 2015 piece is made from stainless steel. It stands at the corner of Thomas Street and 9th Avenue North.

The two artists met at the University of Oregon. They formed Lead Pencil Studio. The studio is in Seattle.

They have created fabulous art together.
